A takeover battle has broken out for music publisher Boosey & Hawkes. Two rival firms - private equity firm HgCapital and rival publisher Music Sales Ltd - have said they are working on offers which they hope will beat the agreed £40m ($63.6m) management buyout deal which was announced earlier this month.
