UK-based arts and gifts retailers, The Works Holding and The Works Retail, have been put up for sale by their administrator, according to reports.

The Works Holding has reported a turnover of GBP 104m (USD 207m) in FY 2007. Tom Griffiths of Kroll is the contact for the sale.
