Australian AMP has so far failed to find buyers for its troubled British operations and appears to be pushing ahead with its plan to demerge its UK business from its operations in Australia and New Zealand by the end of this year. The UK businesses include UK Pearl, NPI, London Life insurance and 'Henderson North', the funds management business.
