Talarius has acquired Displaymatics, the Hampshire-based chain of nine gaming centres, for £5.2m, taking its total estate to 196. Talarius operates the Quicksilver high street gaming brand and the online gambling site Cyberslotz. The acquisition of Displaymatics will be funded from cash and a £4.5m extension of existing bank facilities. We are confident that the DHL business will be integrated seamlessly and almost immediately." said Nick Harding, Talarius CEO, adding: "Our management team continues to pursue further complementary acquisitions. In particular we are keen to extend our strategic approach in to mainland Europe, where similar consolidation opportunities exist.” Displaymatics has been in operation since 1984, trading under the "Slots of Fun" format.
