Nampak Cartons and Nampak Healthcare have been acquired by Platinum Equity of the US for £80m, with the transfer of up to 600 staff at packaging sites in Leeds and Gillingham and 464 staff at healthcare sites in Bradford, Bromborough, Liverpool, Newmarket and Portsmouth.
