We tipped back in July that the American private equity group, Blackstone, wanted to offload London's luxury Claridges hotel. Now the 203 room hotel has been formally put on the market in a move that may be followed by the rest of the Savoy Group. Industry experts estimate a price tag for Claridges of £300m.
