Akzo Nobel, has hired Greenhill, to be their advisors on the sale of its UK paint brand, Crown Paints, according to reports. The sale was part of the remedies required to quickly approve the Dutch company's purchase of UK-chemicals competitor, ICI. A spokesperson for Akzo Nobel was unaware of the appointment, but did comment that the sale of Crown Paints' was part of the undertakings needed to get the ICI deal approved.
