Azzuri Communications, one of Britain's fastest growing telecoms companies, may opt for a sale rather than going ahead with its planned flotation of the business. A final decision is expected to be made in several weeks. Private equity companies Warburg Pincus, Bridgepoint and PPM Capital have all expressed an interest in buying Azzuri, which is thought to be worth up to £100m. Azzuri's profits have risen from £1.4m to £8m over the last four years.
