Barclays could release sale information for leasing business

Barclays Bank is tipped to release sales memoranda for its leasing business within a week according to sources. Potential buyers linked to the sale are Siemens of Germany, Fortis of Belgium and General Electric, based in Connecticut. A sale could fetch an estimated £1bn to £1.2bn.
