Ben Bailey owners mulling sale

Ben Bailey, the UK-listed housebuilder, has announced is to undertake a review of strategic options that could lead to a sale.
In a statement, the company stressed that the review is “ongoing, and there is no certainty that any sale process will be undertaken or that if it is, any offer for the company will be forthcoming.”
Founded in 1933, Ben Bailey operates in the Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire regions and is valued at around £80m. Company accounts for 2006 show that turnover increased by £5.9m to £50.9m, with operating profits of £8.35m.
The company is due to release its next set of results on Friday.
