Betcorp, the UK-listed online gaming group, has become the latest firm to decide to put itself up for sale in the wake of new US online gambling regulations. Bodog Entertainment, the Costa Rican online betting company, has offered up to $9m for the business, and the sale will enable Betcorp to avoid estimated closing down costs of around $6m. More than 85 per cent of Betcorp's turnover came from its US operations.
