DCS Group, the Warwickshire-based software company, is to be acquired by Reynolds & Reynolds of the US for £11m. DCS' subsidiary, DCS Automotive, provides software and information technology services to about 4,500 auto dealers in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain and Switzerland. Its customers include Audi, BMW, Citroen, Fiat, Ford, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault and Volkswagen. DCS has about 400 employees. It would become part of Reynolds International, which serves auto dealers and manufacturers in 36 countries. Following the acquisition, Reynolds will serve about 15,000 dealers worldwide.
