De Vere, the UK hotels company, has seen its boss admit that some of its assets could go on the block. The move could follow on the sale of its Belfry hotel and golf course for £183m. Laever would not comment on chatter that a private equity player might make a move on the group as a whole. Permira has been linked to a possible bid for the group.
