Private social networking site eTribes will be up for sale within the next 18 months, revealed CEO Simon Grice. Founded in July this year, the site now has around 40,000 users and is aimed at busy adults in their 20s and 30s. Grice named BT and Vodaphone as likely bidders for the company, and mentioned a sale price of £100m. eTribes aims to have a turnover of £5m by 2008.
