Exeter & Devon Airport is expected to distribute an information memorandum on 1st of June to prospective buyers. The airport, which is currently owned by Devon City Council, has attracted around 60 interested parties, of which 15 have been selected to receive the information memorandum. First round bids are expected to be due around the week beginning 17th July, and it is hoped that the deal will be complete by mid October. It is thought that the 15 selected parties do not include Macquarie or Ferovial, whose previous attempt to buy the airport failed in early 2005. The airport's value is estimated to be around £50m.
