The UK-listed medical diagnostics company Ferraris is to sell off its respiratory and cardiac units in order to pay off debts. If these fail to sell then the company will have to look at other disposals, or alternatively look to fundraising in the market. Ferraris reported losses of £23.3m between September 2005 and February 2006, however sales increased from £6.11m to £6.95m during this time.
