Ferrovial, the Spanish construction company, may have to dispose of UK airports following its £10bn takeover of BAA. Ferrovial has already hinted that it will dispose of non-UK airports, including notably Buapest airport, but analysts believe that Scottish airports and even London Gatwick will also have to be sold. Gatwick's value has been estimated to be as high as £2bn.
