Ferrovial may sell BAA duty free business
31/07/2007
Grupo Ferrovial is set to announce new asset sales within the next six to nine months, and are considering a disposal of BAA's duty free business among them. A sale of the World Duty Free division, described by FD Nicholas Villen as "not a strategic asset for us", would help to reduce the UK airports operator's debt. The division, which has 65 shops and annual sales of 3300m, could fetch up to £500m.
