DONALD Fisher is in talks to sell his family's eponymous laundry and textile rental business to venture capitalists in a deal that could net more than £30m for the Fife businessman. Sources say Fisher is preparing to offload the 103-year-old firm, which generates multi-million profits from cleaning sheets and the like for hotels, to London-based financiers for around £35m.The front-runners are believed to have seen off competition from at least one Scottish-based firm with a knock-out bid reflecting their confidence in Fishers' prospects in a time of rapid expansion for the leisure industry.
