JON Moulton, the mercurial venture capitalist, has contradicted the boss of the country's largest nursing home chain declaring "it is clearly for sale." Speaking in Manchester, Mr Moulton managing partner of private equity firm Alchemy Partners, which is the majority shareholder in Four Seasons, said "There is no point denying it, it is for sale. Alchemy bought 85 per cent of Four Seasons in 1999 in a buyout led by Mr Anstead. It will reportedly make a profit of £200m if the business is sold for £750m.
