Glass's Guide, the UK motoring journal, is being prepared for a EUR 500m (USD 595m) sale. Lion Capital, the ultimate owner of Glass's Guide, is in discussions with investment banks regarding a potential sale of Glass's. It is believed Lion, the buyout group, is poised to appoint a US-based bank as adviser very soon. Eurotax Glass, the Swiss company, owns Glass's Guide, and is in turn owned by Lion. It is believed Eurotax Glass management also has a shareholding in the journal.
