Global Switch to be sold off.
06/06/2005
Global Switch, the UK data centre company, will be sold off, according to a Financial Times interview with owner Multiplex's chief executive. Multiplex's Andrew Roberts told the FT that the group intends to sell the internet hosting business Multiplex acquired last year. Estimates as to value are between £300-400m. The owners may wait for the group to be in the black before they move for a sale. Other possible disposals are the shopping centre in Barnsley and an office complex in Glasgow.
