Glossop succession problems could lead to sale
20/11/2006
UK caravan dealer Glossop may consider putting the business up for sale in the long term due to succession problems according to insiders. The two owners, Brian and Stan Laing, allegedly do not have a succession plan in place. Stan Laing's children are currently involved in the business but there are doubts within the industry over their ability to run the company, while Brian Laing's children are too young. Glossop Caravans' annual turnover is around £30m.
