Wagamama, the Japanese noodle bar chain, is soon to be put up for sale by Graphite Capital, the venture capitalist which owns a majority stake in the group. The chain could be worth up to £50m. Possible bidders include McDonalds and City Centre Restaurants, owner of the Wok Wok chain of Chinese restaurants.
