Talks between Ickworth Hotel and country house chain Von Essen Hotels have been terminated, leaving Ickworth available to other interested parties. Ickworth Hotel, which is owned by Luxury Family Hotels, is based in Suffolk and is though to be worth £7.5m. According to sources, Von Essen is still interested in acquiring Ickworth and could return to purchase the hotel despite the breakdown of the talks.
