Invensys has put its US-based metering business up for sale with a price tag of $850m. The engineering group has appointed Bank of America to work on the sale alongside Morgan Stanley, which is advising Invensys on its overall disposal strategy. The company is expected to sell around two thirds of its assets, leaving it focused on automation systems.
