For-side.com, a Japan-based mobile phone content company, has put its UK unit iTouch for sale just 10 months after acquiring it. The Japanese company has appointed investment bank Close Brothers to explore any strategic options which may lead to a sale of iTouch. The decision to sell iTouch may stem from the current downturn in Japanese technology shares which has been significantly affected after the Livedoor scandal.
