Jurys Doyle Hotel Group, the Ireland-based leisure company, is still looking for a buyer for its 137-bedroom Jurys Glasgow Hotel unit, said the company's chief executive Pat McCann. The speaker added that a decision regarding its three-star 178-room Montrose unit had yet to be made, but was confident that the hotel would remain within the group over the next calendar year as it was producing strong results. "We are still looking for a buyer, we are looking to get planning permission on the site. [which can lead to] additional facilities or apartments, then it will be sold" McCann said when asked about the future of the Glasgow hotel. He gave no indication as to when the planning permission would be granted or provide a timeframe as to when the unit would be sold. According to previous reports, Jurys Doyle had put a £10m price tag on the Glasgow unit.
