Krispy Kreme has put its UK division up for sale
03/04/2006
US doughnut maker Krispy Kreme has put its UK division up for sale, less than three years after launching the product in Britain. Manchester-based corporate finance boutique Ford Campbell will handle the sale. The business is expected to fetch up to £50m, which would be used to help offset expected losses of £20m. The company has been blighted by accounting irregularities in the US.
