Emap, the UK media group, is considering the sale of its Scottish Radio Holdings newspaper assets. Emap is thought already to have contacted Lazard to provide it with early data on possible price ranges for the assets. Possible buyers are likely to be many and include UK groups such as Johnston Press, DMGT, Trinity Mirror and Archant as well as private equity group 3i.
