The owners of Kwik-Fit, the British car tires and exhausts business, have said that they are evaluating ways to exit the business. A flotation of Kwik-Fit is believed to be the most likely option, although a trade sale could also be under consideration. Analysts have estimated that such a move could value the business at £500m to £750m. CVC Capital Partners bought Kwik-Fit for £330m in 2002 from U.S. auto maker Ford Motor Co.
