Large Shoe Retailer Sold to Rival Chain

Footwear retailer Stead & Simpson has been sold to rival chain Shoe Zone after a brief spell in administration.Rob Hunt, Bruce Cartwright and Stuart Maddison of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP who were appointed as joint administrators to Stead and Simpson Limited on 28 January 2008, were soon able to announce a sale of the shoe retailer, this week.
