A company source at UK wooden toy manufacturer Le Toy Van has been quoted as saying that the company would consider a sale provided the price was right. According to the source, a buyer would be likely to come from Germany, Japan or Scandinavia, where the wooden toy market is robust. Le Toy Van previously rejected an approach from Swedish company Brio a number of years ago. Le Toy Van has an annual turnover of around £5m.
