Leeds Bradford Airport could find itself up for sale. Some public figures feel that now might be the time to sell. A report has been commissioned for the Leeds, UK local authority (governing body). If the owners opt for a sale, the airport could fetch more than £36m. More than 2.6m passengers used the airport last year. The airport, owned by five local authorities in West Yorkshire, will likely be put on the block as a going concern. Leeds and Bradford each hold 40% and 20% is split among nearby Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.
