Leeds Bradford Airport has decided to pursue a sales process, and is currently tendering for advisors, according to an industry source. The future of the airport has been uncertain, as it has been difficult to ascertain whether the five local authorities which currently own the business could support the growth and future operational funding for the airport going forward. It has been suggested that a sale of the airport could fetch more than £36m.
