The UK-based fashion and shoe retailer, LK Bennett, has been sold to Phoenix Equity Partners. The deal is worth ibetween £80m and £100m, which is less than owner Linda Bennett’s £100m-150m asking price.Phoenix plans to expand the business across the US and Europe and is to install luxury-goods expert Robert Bensoussan as chairman. Linda Bennett is to retain a 30% stake in her company and will take a board seat.
