London City Airport for sale

London City Airport is to be sold by its owner Dermot Desmond, the Dublin Financier. Desmond has reportedly hired Morgan Stanley to advise on the sale. The airport, which opened in 1987, was bought by Desmond in 1995 for £23.5m. It is now thought to be worth around £400m.
