Luminar, the listed UK leisure business, may have run into problems selling its entertainment arm. The nightclub and bar-owner had reportedly been in exclusive negotiations with Alchemy Partners, but, according to market rumours, those discussions may now have ended. The entertainment business includes Chicago Rock Café and Jumpin Jaks and had difficulty earlier this year attracting substantial offers. Luminar shares were down 3p to 482p because of the whispers, giving it a market capitalisation of £353m.
