DI Group, French luxury and retail group LVMH's media subsidiary, has confirmed that it is considering divesting French daily newspaper La Tribune should LVMH acquire Les Echos. La Tribune, which employs 189 journalists, could be sold off "quickly", within six months of the acquisition, according to DI Group management. Lazard has been appointed to advise on the sale process.
