Lyceum Capital is tipped to have instructed its advisors NM Rothschild to handle the sale of its Asquith nursery business. Asquith operates 113 private day care nurseries in the UK and employs around 2,500 staff. Its property portfolio consists largely of freehold properties, as well as a number on concessionary leases. Asquith's current EBITDA is estimated to be £8m, which could lead to a sale price of around £96m, although its freehold portfolio could push this up even further.
