Macquarie, the Australian financial services group, has put its Thames Water Services business up for sale. An asking price has been estimated in the region of £150m to £200m for Thames Water Services, which manages water infrastructure businesses. Thames Water Services posted £24m profits on £280m turnover for 2006.
