MacraeFood Group, the largest processor of delicatessen seafood products in the UK, is to be sold by its equity parent company by the end of 2005, according to its Chairman, Bill Hazeldean. "Belgium-based investment group Pan European Food Fund, which owns Macrae, will exit its Pan European Seafood Holdings fund by the end of 2005. Macrae is one of the companies in that fund. It has always been the intention of Pan European to sell Macrae within this timescale."
