Marconi PLC - Division Sale

Marconi PLC is in talks to sell its Italian defence subsidiary Marconi Mobile. Bidders for the £400 million business are thought to include BAE Systems PLC, Thales of France and Finmeccanica SpA of Italy, as well as the European Aeronautic Defence & Space Co NV (EADS).
