Marks & Spencer will raise £400m in cash by selling and leasing back a portfolio of high street stores. Potential buyers have been sounded out by Healey & Baker, the retailer's property adviser. As part of the store-sale programme, M&S is prepared to enter a partnership with the successful bidder.
