Mayflower, the British bus builder, has put one of its core subsidiaries up for sale in an effort to reduce debts. Robert W Baird has been appointed to find a buyer for Mayflower Vehicle Systems, which makes car panels and truck cabs. It is believed the subsidiary could fetch up to £55m.
