McMullen & Sons, one of the oldest family-run pub companies in Britain, is putting its business up for sale for an estimated £200m. Assets include 150 mostly freehold pubs, and other properties in the south of England. It expects interest from Pubmaster and Greene King as well as independent brewers and property companies. This sale follows Nomura's decision to sell its two remaining pub groups, The Unique Pub Company and Voyager Pub Group.
