Morrells, the Oxford beer and pub company acquired three years ago by Michael Cannon, the US based leisure entrepreneur, is up for sale for up to £80m. PricewaterhouseCoopers has been appointed to conduct the sale, which includes several beer brands such as Varsity and Oxford Blue, and a pub estate of at least 60 sites featuring tenanted and managed houses.
