Mowlem, the UK-based construction company, may look to sell Barclay Mowlem, its Australian arm, according to an unsourced Australian Financial Review report. Carillion, the UK-based construction company, had made a bid for Mowlem and didn't see that the Australian operations are a core part of its long-term strategy. Barclay Mowlem may be sold for at least AUD 150m (USD 112m).
