Newport Alphasteel site seeking buyer

Administrators called in to a Newport steel plant are trying to find a buyer in the new year. The Alphasteel site, which went into administrative receivership on 21st, employs more than 400. The company was founded in 1974, and was taken over by Swiss-based Satico Ltd in 2003.
