UK racecourse operator Northern Racing is thought to have appointed NM Rothschild to handle a sale of the business despite already being in the process of considering a bid submitted last year. Sources have tipped the eventual buyer to be be a private equity or property group, who would be likely to pay up to £100m for the business. Northern Racing's market capitalisation stands at £75m.
